‘annexes’ is a series of written or typed religious and political expressions. it‘s a subdivision in the project ‘in the names of god,’ consisting of repeatedly written slogans and expressions that were used during protests in the streets of lebanon during the revolution (2019), right before the covid-19 pandemic started and people had to go through the quarantine, and oppress their revolt. it was the closest i could get to live the experience of constant protests from abroad. write, repeat, remember, get it out, forget the sense of the words, get tired, stop, repeat all the above.
